Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network seeks a per diem Medical Assistant Float for Pediatric Primary Care Clinics. The role supports multiple south Puget Sound locations, with travel between clinics in Auburn, Covington, Olympia, Puyallup, Tacoma and beyond.

Qualifications

• Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff
• Interviewing patients and obtaining vital signs
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture
• Administering medications in compliance with Washington State DOH regulations and documented competency
• Relaying instructions to patients and their families/caregivers
• Sending and receiving patient medical records and facilitating referrals
• Preparing forms for patients
