Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is seeking a per diem Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support Pediatric Primary Care clinics across the south Puget Sound area. The role involves travel to Auburn, Covington, Olympia, Puyallup, Tacoma locations and collaboration with physicians, APPs, nurses and front office teams.

You will perform patient care tasks within the MA-C scope, obtain vitals, prepare patients for exams, assist with procedures, and support clerical workflows while maintaining

Qualifications

• WA MA-C certification is required or preferred.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned including organizing patient flow with front office.
• Interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs and assisting exams or treatments.
• Performing specimen collection and venipuncture when needed.
• Administering medications per WA DoH regulations and competency.
• Relaying instructions to patients and families; clerical tasks as needed.
