MultiCare Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support Pediatric Primary Care clinics in the south Puget Sound area. Role requires travel to multiple locations and will work as per diem with day shifts and variable scheduling.

Responsibilities include patient flow management, interviewing patients, vital signs, assisting exams, venipuncture, medication administration per WA DOH regulations, and handling records and referrals.

Qualifications

• MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff.
• Interviewing patients.
• Obtaining vital signs.
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State DOH regulations and documented competency.
• Relaying instructions to patients and their families/caregivers.
• Sending and receiving of patient medical records.
• Facilitating patient referrals.
• Preparing forms for patients.
