Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support pediatric primary care clinics across the south Puget Sound area. This per diem position travels to locations including Auburn, Covington, Olympia, Puyallup, and Tacoma, assisting with patient flow, exams and injections as needed.

The MA-C will work under licensed practitioners, perform safe clinical tasks, and maintain documentation and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned, coordinating patient flow with front office staff, interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for exams and treatments, collecting specimens (venipuncture) and administering medications per WA DOH regulations.
• Fulfills clerical responsibilities such as sending/receiving patient records, facilitating referrals and preparing forms.
