Job summary

BrightStar Care of Santa Barbara County is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) with pediatric experience to provide one-on-one care in Lompoc. You will support a toddler’s health, including diapering, and communicate clearly with the client, family, and care team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient care per plans, and documentation. Shifts include 8am–4pm on Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun, with strong emphasis on compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• California LVN license (in good standing).
• 1 year experience preferred.
• 6–12 months pediatric experience.
• Experience with ROM exercises.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Educate patients and families on health management.
• Maintain accurate electronic documentation of progress.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.

Overview

BrightStar Care is building a team of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) with pediatric experience to provide attentive, one-on-one care in Lompoc. You will support a toddlers health and daily care needs, including diaper changes, while communicating clearly with the client, family, and care team.

LVN Responsibilities

• Proficiency in medication administration and management
