Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam, records vital signs and health information.
• Performs laboratory procedures (strep test, wound culture) using aseptic technique.
• Assists physicians with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams and colposcopy.
• Administers medications under orders, including immunizations and IV therapy where allowed.
• Provides patient education and coordinates referrals, tests and follow-ups.
• Maintains exam rooms and lab areas, cleans, stocks, and keeps equipment ready.
