Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state where you practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days unless not required by department leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exams, obtain vital signs and update health information.
• Perform basic laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries as appropriate.
• Administer medications under orders, including vaccines and insulin.
• Initiate and manage IV therapy within scope and monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients on tasks, treatment and self-care; process referrals and appointments.
