Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time pediatric general department. You will prepare patients, perform selected lab tasks, assist with procedures, administer meds, and educate patients under provider supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining rooms and equipment, coordinating with nurses and physicians, and contributing to quality initiatives in a 40-hour week schedule.

Qualifications

• LPN license required in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days if required.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and room patients, obtain vital signs and document health information.
• Perform lab procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administer medications per orders, including injections and IV therapy within limits.
• Provide patient education and coordinate follow-up appointments.
• Document patient information and communicate with the care team.
• Maintain exam rooms, labs and supplies; ensure equipment readiness.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient-centered initiatives.
