Qualifications

• Active New Jersey LPN license and current BLS certification.
• Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator care and G-tube feeding preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States and valid driver’s license (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety and comfort.
• Manage and monitor tracheostomy and ventilator support.
• Perform trach care, suctioning, and airway management as ordered.
• Administer and monitor G-tube feedings.
• Assess respiratory status and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with family.

Provide meaningful, life-changing 1:1 pediatric nursing care for a medically complex 2-year-old patient who relies on skilled nursing support. Affrim? Actually "Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for a pediatric patient in East Rutherford, NJ requiring tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and G-tube feedings.

About the Case

• 2-year-old medically complex pediatric patient
• Trach and ventilator dependent

What You'll Do

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability
• Manage and monitor tracheostomy and ventilator support
• Perform trach care, suctioning, and airway management as ordered
• Administer and monitor G-tube feedings
• Assess respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the family and pediatric clinical team to ensure continuity of care

Pay Rate

LPN: Up to $40/hr

What You Bring

• Active New Jersey LPN License
• Experience with trach, ventilator, and G-tube care preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical exam within 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
