Job summary

Affirmer Home Care is seeking a compassionate RN to provide 1:1 pediatric private duty nursing for a 2-year-old in East Rutherford, NJ. The case requires tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and G-tube feedings, with ongoing respiratory monitoring.

You will join a dedicated clinical team and family, delivering safe, comfortable care across day, evening, and overnight shifts, with long-term case stability and flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Experience with trach, ventilator and G-tube care preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Physical exam within 12 months.
• PPD/QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years).
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and clinical stability.
• Manage and monitor tracheostomy and ventilator support.
• Perform trach care, suctioning, and airway management as ordered.
• Administer and monitor G-tube feedings.
• Assess respiratory status and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the family and pediatric clinical team to ensure continuity of care.

Available Shifts

Coverage Needed:

• Day, evening, and overnight shifts available

What You'll Do
