Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Physician to join a busy Pediatric Intensive Care team in an inpatient setting with a Level III NICU/PICU. This employed position offers 24/7 coverage, 24-hour shifts (8 hours in-house), and access to a strong referral network within a large health system.

Qualified candidates will hold MD/DO credentials and Illinois licensure eligibility; Advanced Life Support is preferred. The facility is part of Ascension’s nationwide Catholic health system and provides comprehensive

• 24 hour shifts, 8 hours of it in-house
• 24/7 Pediatric Intensivist service
• Practice setting: Inpatient
• Level III NICU/PICU
• 6 PICU beds
• 16 Pediatric beds
• 30 Pediatric Nursery beds
• 24/7 Neonatology Service
• NICU 30 beds with 12 swing beds
• Pediatric Hospitalist support
• Pediatric ER
• Access to several Pediatric sub-specialists
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Critical Care
• Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
