Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join an employed practice on a busy hospital campus. The role includes full-service outpatient pediatric endocrinology, inpatient rounds, and access to a strong referral network.

You will work with Diabetes Educators, excellent office support, Level III NICU/PICU, 24/7 Neonatology and Pediatric Hospitalist services, with opportunities for professional growth and a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Illinois licensure/certification required before hire date.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service outpatient pediatric endocrinology care.
• Perform inpatient rounds, potentially on call.
• Collaborate with Diabetes Educators and office staff.
• Care for patients in a hospital campus setting with NICU/PICU access.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
