Job summary

UW Health's American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate holistic pediatric care with a multidisciplinary team. You will care for children dependent on technology and with conditions such as nephrology issues, new diabetes diagnoses, epilepsy, and scoliosis.

The position offers 90% FTE with evening/night shifts, every other weekend, and a holiday rotation, plus a comprehensive benefits package and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Inpatient Units: Six (6) months nursing experience or current Nurse Residency participation with successful completion.
• Licensure as RN in WI or compact state; CPR/BLS and PALS within 12 months; relevant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate holistic care with a multidisciplinary team for patients and families.
• Care for children dependent on technology (ventilators, home dialysis, tracheostomies).
• Care for patients with nephrology, new-onset diabetes, epilepsy, and scoliosis.
