Job summary

UW Health's American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic care plans for pediatric patients, including those dependent on technology such as home ventilators and dialysis.

This 90% FTE role includes evening/night shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation, plus competitive benefits and professional growth opportunities in a Magnet-designated pediatric center.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Six months inpatient nursing experience required or current participant in UW Health Nurse Residency Program.
Active RN license in WI or compact state at hire.
Current CPR/BLS Certification at hire; PALS within 12 months.

Responsibilities

Coordinate holistic care plans with a multidisciplinary team for pediatric patients.
Care for children dependent on technology (ventilators, dialysis, tracheostomies).
Manage care for patients with nephrology issues, new diabetes diagnoses, epilepsy, scoliosis.
