Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes.
• Uphold a culture of safety and ensure accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Communicate effectively and support team collaboration and appropriate delegation.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
