Qualifications

• Prior front office experience in dental/medical settings is preferred.
• Working knowledge of dental insurance verification, claims submission, and EOBs is desired.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with children and parents are essential.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in billing and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients and families, creating a warm front-desk experience
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments to optimize daily workflow
• Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to visits
• Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
• Collect co-pays, explain treatment costs, and assist with payment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records in the practice management system
• Communicate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries professionally
