Job summary

TPG Pediatrics in Northern Virginia is seeking a FULL TIME Front Desk Administrative Clerk with 3 to 5 years of medical receptionist experience to join our busy Lake Ridge office. You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and manage paperwork using multiple scheduling platforms.

Ideal candidates speak with patients in person and by phone, are comfortable with basic technology, and can discuss finances as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of medical terminology and insurance knowledge preferred.
• EMR experience desirable.
• Experience speaking with patients in person and by phone.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, professional greeting to patients and visitors.
• Answer a high volume of calls.
• Schedules patient appointments and helps patients complete necessary paperwork.
• Uses multiple platforms for calls and scheduling.
• Collects payments from patients and discusses finances to aid understanding of bills.
