Angel Kids Pediatrics, Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a full‑time Front Desk Specialist to join our team. You will manage the front desk, greet families, handle calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and process co-pays in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

We value excellent communication, organization, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Prior medical reception experience and a MOA certificate are a plus, with weekend/holiday hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Receptionist: 1 year (Required).
• Insurance Verification: 1 year (Required).
• MOA Certificate from accredited program (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Answers, screens, and directs calls on multiline phone system; takes detailed messages and/or forwards calls to appropriate practitioner.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Clears faxes each morning and delivers to appropriate practitioner.
• Greets patients; directs to appropriate area.
• Composes and types routine correspondence as required.
• Performs general clerical duties including filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
• Collects co-pays, deductibles, and all outstanding balances.
• Inputs patient information into computer system.
• Validates insurance and PCP.
