Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network seeks a Medical Receptionist to be the first in-person contact for patients. You will handle front office duties, greet patients, answer phones, schedule and register patients, and manage payments with care and discretion.

The role requires excellent customer service, a professional manner, and strong communication. Prior clerical or medical office experience is preferred, with post-high-school training or related certification acceptable in lieu

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical or receptionist experience, or six months in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience is required.
• Degree or relevant certificate may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and answer phones, directing calls as needed.
• Assist patients and families with front desk needs.
• Schedule appointments and handle patient registration.
• Process charge entries and payment postings.
• Batch balance and cash reconciliation.
• Operate basic office equipment.
• Maintain discretion and professional demeanor at all times.
• Interface with patients, families, and co-workers.
• Support physicians and public-facing contacts as required.
