Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network is seeking a Medical Receptionist to serve as the first in-person contact for patients and families in a pediatric practice.

The role requires excellent customer service, clerical experience, and the ability to handle scheduling, registration and payments with discretion and professionalism. Day shift with some evenings and weekend rotations may be required, and the environment emphasizes compassionate, family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience.
• Degree or relevant Certificate may substitute for experience.”

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families; direct calls and assist patients.
• Answer phones, take messages and direct inquiries.
• Schedule appointments, registrations, and process registrations.
• Handle charge entries, payment postings and batch balancing.
• Balance cash and operate basic office equipment.
