Job summary

Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) seeks a qualified social worker to serve as a Forensic Interviewer at the Children’s Advocacy Center. You will conduct forensic interviews with children believed to be victims of abuse or witnesses to crimes and support families through the process.

The role includes coordinating multidisciplinary case staffing, completing psychosocial assessments, and assisting with discharge planning and community referrals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field.
• Licensed Social Worker is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement discharge plans and referrals.
• Conduct forensic interviews with children suspected of abuse or as witnesses.
• Provide psychosocial support and crisis intervention to patients and families.
• Assist in education of staff and community on social work issues.
• Document all actions in Medical Records and participate in multidisciplinary teams.

Education

Master's Degree (Required) in Social Work or Education or Psychology or Counseling or Sociology

Licensed Social Worker (Required)
