RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Float Pool (NICU/PICU/PEDS) on the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center campus. The role is part-time daytime, 24 hours weekly, with a focus on pediatric care across NICU, PICU, and general pediatrics.

You will assess patients, administer care, document in EPIC, and collaborate with an interprofessional team to ensure safe transitions and excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• NJ RN license in good standing required or able to obtain.
• BLS certification required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems such as EPIC is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes early.
• Deliver medications and hands-on care with strong clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote teamwork.
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and clinical ladder opportunities.
