Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is hiring a Manager for Pediatric Fellowship Programs to lead the Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program and its coordinators. This full-time, on-site role may transition to a hybrid schedule after orientation.

You will manage educational programs, support HR and budgeting processes, and liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure accreditation compliance. A strong background in medical education and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business, or related field desired or equivalent prior work experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of ACGME policies preferred.
• Strong initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee administrative processes and staff for Medical Education in the Department of Pediatrics.
• Perform annual personnel reviews for medical education coordinators.
• Allocate shared resources within medical education programs with Department of Pediatrics leadership.
• Oversee faculty development and incentive compensation related to education.
• Administer and supervise graduate medical education programs.
• Develop procedures in response to new policies issued by governing agencies.
• Coordinate ACGME accreditation site visits for fellowship programs.
• Maintain web-based ACGME accreditation surveys for pediatric residency programs.
• Create and supervise evaluation processes for internal and external rotations.
• Network with community practices to facilitate outpatient experiences.
• Submit reports to accrediting and professional bodies as required.
• Maintain GME Tracks and credentialing for training.
• Maintain house staff personnel records and confidential evaluations.
• Organize new house staff orientation and initial training in NRP, BLS, and PALS.
