Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee ~50 FTEs on the day shift. Requires at least 3 years of RN practice with manager experience preferred.

You’ll lead patient care operations, staff development, and quality improvement in a fast‑paced pediatric setting. You will collaborate with a leadership team, ensure regulatory compliance, and actively support safety and patient experience.

Qualifikationen

• RN licensure in Illinois is required.
• BSN required; MSN preferred for management role.
• Minimum 3–5 years in healthcare leadership, pediatric preferred.
• ANCC certification relevant to responsibility within 12 months of hire.
• Strong communication, budgeting, and staff development skills.
• BLS required; PALS or related certs may be required in some areas.

• Manage daily operations to ensure high quality care, patient satisfaction, and safety.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, payroll and overtime oversight.
• Coach and mentor staff; support staff development and in-services.
• Monitor budgeting, variances and productivity; assist with budget planning.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively within department and with senior leadership.
