Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Pediatric Emergency Department, part-time, night shifts in Voorhees, NJ. Under RN/LPN supervision, you will help with activities of daily living and assist with essential clinical tasks.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of a PCT course or RN fundamentals course, with BLS and phlebotomy certifications preferred. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PCT (or RN fundamentals) course completed or RN program fundamentals course.
• BLS certification required; Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting, mobility).
• Perform technical duties per RN/LPN instruction (phlebotomy, vital signs, point-of-care testing, EKGs, bladder scanning, Foley catheter care).
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN/LPN and respond appropriately.
