HCA Florida Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Pediatric ER in Brandon, FL. This full-time, on-site role focuses on coordinating patient flow, supervising nursing care, and ensuring adherence to pediatric ER protocols and safety standards.

The position requires active Florida RN licensure, a nursing diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), and ER experience. BLS is mandatory; ACLS/PALS/ENPC and NIHSS/CPI certifications are needed within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida RN or have a compact license with active FL RN within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year ER RN experience; pediatric ER experience preferred.
• BLS certification current.
• ACLS, PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within 6 months of hire.
• NIHSS and CPI completion required within 6 months.
• TNCC certification preferred; CEN/CPEN highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate patient flow in the pediatric ER and supervise nursing care.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Provide direct pediatric nursing care and triage patients.
• Administer treatments and medications; collaborate with physicians.
• Mentor nursing staff, assist with scheduling and resource allocation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
• Communicate with families to promote family-centered care.
