Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and continuously monitors patient flow and throughput.
• Coaches and mentors staff to improve performance and outcomes.
• Collaborates with Operations Administrators and Nursing Staff Office to meet hospital needs.
• Promotes cost containment and maintains par levels of supplies.
• Participates in nursing governance and unit-based committees.
• Reviews patient plans and communicates updates to physicians and families.
• Documents care plans and ensures education for patients/families is recorded.
