The role requires RN licensure and ER experience; ACLS/BCLS/PALS certifications should be obtained within specified timelines. Leadership and scheduling responsibilities are part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• RN license required and in good standing.
• Emergency Room experience required.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS certifications must be obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates unit functions across shifts.
• Directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Acts as resource for staff and supports achievement of clinical outcomes.
• Oversees admissions/discharges for throughput and care quality.
• Assists with staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
