Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Ohio STNA/Ohio CNA eligibility or reciprocity.
• CPR certification required; internal training offered periodically.
• 1 year patient care experience in the last 3 years or PA training completed after hire.
• CPR and safety training are required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide approved care for assigned patients under RN supervision; assist with daily living activities.
• Demonstrate CARES behaviors; communicate status and changes during shifts and handoffs.
• Maintain a safe, organized environment per infection control and safety policies.
• Provide administrative support: assemble charts, stock supplies, train new staff as needed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent AND Ohio STNA/Ohio CNA eligibility

Ohio or National EMS Registry

1 year patient care experience in last 3 years

Patient Care Assistant training program completed after hire
