Advocate Aurora Health's Aurora Medical Group is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support the care team with clinical and administrative tasks, patient flow, and documentation. The main location is Aurora with occasional visits to Huntley.

The role requires MA program completion or 2 years of full-time MA experience, BLS certification within 45 days, and the ability to perform vital signs, prepare patients, assist with procedures, and administer vaccines as directed.

Qualifications

• MA licensure or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 45 days unless exempted by leadership.
• GED or HS Equivalency Diploma.
• Completion of an accredited MA program or 2 years verifiable full-time MA experience in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
