Job summary

Advocate Medical Group (AMG) in Aurora, IL is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support the care team. The role includes clinical and administrative tasks, patient communication, and EHR documentation to ensure safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or certified MA with 2 years MA experience required.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform MA duties within 8am–6pm, Tue/Thu and one Saturday per month.
• Communicate test results to patients and manage return phone calls and MyChart messages.
• Handle prescription refills and support providers and care team.
• Document care in the electronic health record and maintain patient confidentiality.
