Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for an on-site role in Aurora, IL. The position is full-time with standard hours and some Saturday work. The MA will support the care team, manage patient communications, and help ensure safety and confidentiality.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a MA credential or 2 years of MA experience (certified MA with 2 years preferred). Phlebotomy skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Medical assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or certified MA with 2 years MA experience required.
• Phlebotomy skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Office-based duties: communicate test results to patients and manage return calls and MyChart messages.
• Process prescription refill requests and coordinate care with providers.
• Support care team by taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting during procedures.
