Job summary

Legacy Health in Portland, OR seeks a Pediatric Cardiovascular Echo Sonographer to independently perform advanced pediatric echocardiograms, including transthoracic, transesophageal, stress, bubble, and contrast studies, and support intraoperative imaging. You will work at Legacy Emanuel and Randall locations in an on-call capacity with pediatric cardiology and surgical teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of pediatric echocardiography, certification eligibility, and a BS in a health sciences

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited cardiac sonography or echocardiography certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in health sciences.
• Registration/certification eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive echocardiograms including TTE, TEE, stress, bubble, and contrast studies.
• Support complex procedures such as ECMO and intra-operative imaging.
• Identify congenital heart disease and complex anomalies through imaging.
• Provide care in inpatient and outpatient settings and collaborate with teams.
• Prepare preliminary reports for cardiologists and explain procedures to families.
