Job summary

Valley Children's Healthcare in California seeks a dedicated echocardiography technologist to perform routine congenital and pediatric exams with competency in transesophageal, epicardial, and intracardiac echocardiography in outpatient settings.

You will assist Cardiologists, generate draft reports using our archiving system, and participate in on-call rotation and outreach clinics. Strong ARDMS pathway and bilingual abilities are valued; compensation ranges are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with congenital/pediatric echocardiography preferred.
• Ability to assist in transesophageal, epicardial, and intracardiac echocardiography procedures.
• Draft echocardiogram reports using archiving/report writing software.

College Degree - 2 year Accredited Echocardiography/Ultrasonography

Program Accredited Echocardiography/Ultrasonography Technical/Vocational Training

Equivalent Experience If individual has neither accredited program nor 2 year degree, High School Diploma and equivalent experience sufficient to allow for successful completion of ARDMS certification in Echocardiography required. (required)

College Degree - 4 year Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (preferred)

BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)

RDCS-PE - ARDMS Pediatric Echocardiography - ARDMS - American Registry of Medical Sonographers within 18 months of hire or transfer into position (required)

CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International - CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Akers Specialty Clinic only within 18 months of hire or transfer into position (required)

RDCS-FE - ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography - ARDMS - American Registry of Medical Sonographers (preferred)

RDCS-AE - ARDMS Adult Echocardiography - ARDMS - American Registry of Medical Sonographers (preferred)
