Valley Children’s Healthcare in California seeks a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to perform routine echocardiographic and congenital studies with precision. The role involves assisting in transesophageal, epicardial and intracardiac echocardiography across outpatient, inpatient, cath lab and operative settings.

You will generate draft reports, work under the Lead Cardiac Sonographer, participate in on-call duties and Outreach Clinic activities, and perform EKGs and monitoring as needed.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent in echocardiography/ultrasonography
• ARDMS/CCI certification within 18 months of hire or transfer
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Experience in congenital and pediatric echocardiography preferred

Responsabilités

• Perform routine echocardiographic and congenital procedures with competency
• Assist in transesophageal, epicardial and intracardiac echocardiography procedures
• Generate and prepare a draft echocardiogram report
• Work under the Lead Cardiac Sonographer, department manager and medical director
• Participate in on-call duties and Outreach Clinic involvement
• Perform EKGs, Holter and multi-event monitoring as needed
