Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school in sonography.
• Two years of adult echocardiography experience preferred.
• Must obtain pediatric registry status within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Differentiate artifacts from true images and recognize equipment limitations.
• Perform emergency exams in ICUs, ED, cath lab and OR.
• Document results and ensure accurate billing and reporting.
