Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in MA
• Experience with infants and families preferred
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development
• Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships
• Commitment to culturally humble services
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Bilingual/Bicultural a plus

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client’s developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family centered services for birth to three using parent coaching.
• Provide service coordination: scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating IFSPs.
• Partner with families to identify goals and strategies for development.
• Facilitate parent-child interactions to support development and advocacy.
• Complete progress notes, reports and correspondence in Thom system.
• Deliver individual and group interventions for infants/toddlers with delays or risk of delay.
