Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist open to treating children) for our Great Lakes Family Dental practice in Saginaw, MI. This full-time role offers a modern facility with integrated orthodontics and oral surgery and a path for long-term growth in a collaborative team.

Candidates must hold a DDS/DMD, be board eligible or certified in pediatric dentistry, hold a state license, and meet vaccination and CPR requirements.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standards of care and ethics.

Education
