Job summary

Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI seeks a full-time Pediatric Dentist or General Dentist open to treating children, joining our multi-specialty practice with integrated orthodontics and oral surgery. The role offers a stable schedule in a modern facility with advanced technology and a dedicated patient base.

The successful candidate will have a DDS/DMD, pediatric credentials, an active state license, Hep B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests; monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics in the practice.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
