42 North Dental's Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist) open to treating children to join our team. We offer part-time or full-time schedules with per diem pay and integrated orthodontics and oral surgery within the practice.

The candidate should have a DDS/DMD, state license, pediatric dentistry board eligibility, and strong commitment to patient care in a modern, well-equipped facility with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and monitor growth and development.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics and professionalism.
