Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist) to join Great Lakes Family Dental in Saginaw, MI. The role offers part-time or full-time schedules with a per diem rate and opportunities to provide general, pediatric, orthodontic, and periodontic services in a modern practice.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about children's oral health, hold a DDS/DMD, be board-eligible, and possess an active Michigan license.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state dental license in Michigan.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
