42 North Dental, a multi-specialty dental group, seeks a Pediatric Dentist (or General Dentist treating children) for its Great Lakes Family Dental site in Saginaw, MI. The role offers part-time or full-time schedules with competitive per diem pay and opportunities across orthodontics and oral surgery within the practice.

The ideal candidate will have a DMD or DDS, be board eligible or certified in pediatric dentistry, and hold a current state license.

Qualifikationen

• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests. Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office

Ausbildung

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

BLS/CPR certification
