Job summary

Children’s Dental FunZone in Riverside, CA is seeking a friendly Front Office Receptionist to greet patients, manage appointments, and maintain patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

You will handle scheduling, verify insurance, collect payments, and support the team in a fast-paced pediatric practice that values integrity, excellent customer service, and teamwork. Some Saturdays required; full-time schedule Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• An upbeat personality is a MUST.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be able to work two Saturdays a month.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients enthusiastically to the practice.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
• Assisting patients to fill out information forms while HIPAA compliant.
• Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
• Updating patient records and documenting treatments and procedures.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing reminders.
• Communicating with medical insurance providers.
• Verifying payment methods and collecting payments as needed.
• Performing general office duties, such as answering phones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
