Job summary

Children’s Dental FunZone is hiring a Front Office Receptionist to set the warm tone of our pediatric practice. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm with some Saturdays, and includes benefits and monthly bonuses.

You’ll greet patients, schedule appointments, collect payments, verify insurance, and keep patient records up to date while handling HIPAA-compliant forms. A positive, customer-focused attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Must love working with children.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills; Dentrix Ascend knowledge a plus.
• Fast-paced environment requires upbeat, detail-oriented professional.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus; Saturday shifts required.
• Maintain professional appearance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients warmly as the first point of contact.
• Schedules, reschedules, or cancels appointments.
• Assists patients with forms in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Prepares charts and daily schedules for staff.
• Updates patient records and documents treatments.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and telephonic reminders.
• Communicates with medical insurance providers.
• Verifies payment methods and collects payments.
• Performs general office duties (phones, filing, faxing).
