Job summary

HHM Health in Dallas is seeking a Dental Front Office Assistant for our Pediatric locations. You will create a welcoming environment and help ensure an exemplary patient experience.

Responsibilities include patient check-in/out, phone handling, insurance verification, scheduling, and coordinating referrals. Experience with eClinicalWorks/Dentrix is preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of Front Office Dental Administrative experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• eClinicalWorks and Dentrix experience preferred.
• Completion of Dental Assistant Certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR First Aid certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese, Rohingya or other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient check-in and check-out.
• Answering phones and assisting patients.
• Insurance verification and eligibility checks.
• Making patient calls (confirmations, follow-ups, scheduling).
• Assisting with dental home appointments and screenings for medical patients.
• eCW workflows, scheduling, billing and documentation.
• Strong communication between teams and patients.
• Supporting front office tasks as needed.
• Sending out dental referrals and connecting patients to care.
• Travel to Dallas-based locations including Irving and Kaufman as needed.
