Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging examinations for pediatric patients and ensure the production of high-quality images. You will prepare children for procedures, operate imaging equipment, and verify image quality.

The role requires ARRT certification, CPR, and at least one year of clinical radiologic experience, with preference for pediatric setting. This position involves 40-hour weeks, and rotating call on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology.

Responsabilités

• Prepares pediatric patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operates radiologic equipment to capture images of pediatric patients’ internal organs and structures.
• Reviews images to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintains accurate patient records and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate proper patient care.
• Maintains and updates knowledge of radiologic technology and safety procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
