Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool in Falls Church, VA. This on-site role supports NICU, PICU, PCICU, and other pediatric units with a flexible night shift, typically 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• RN with Virginia licensure and at least 1 year in critical care.
• BSN or ADN; BSN preferred with plan to obtain BSN if ADN.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient health assessments and interprets data.
• Formulates individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Supports patients and families through healthcare continuum.
• Advocates for patients' rights and coordinates care.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and mentors staff.
