Job summary

Children's Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician III on a per diem basis. You will prepare patients and specimens, manage reagents and QC, and provide professional support across CHLA locations with rotating shifts and travel as needed.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of lab experience, solid phlebotomy skills, and familiarity with medical terminology; an AA/BS is preferred. California CPT certification is required when phlebotomy duties are performed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a large laboratory or academic institution.
• 3+ years in technical phlebotomy and medical terminology knowledge.
• Phlebotomy duties require CPT certification when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and specimens, perform duties approved by regulatory agencies.
• Handle reagents and supplies, perform QC and routine lab procedures.
• Provide client service and support under supervision for CHLA locations.
