UCLA Health is seeking a per diem Phlebotomist to support ambulatory sites including Ronald Reagan Hospital and Santa Monica Hospital. You will perform phlebotomy on inpatients and outpatients, triage samples, prepare specimens, and enter data into the system.

The role features variable hours, rotating weekends and holidays, and may convert to a career path. The position requires CA CPT certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2 years of phlebotomy experience (or 1 year

Formación

• As per diem phlebotomy role requiring CA CPT certification and high school diploma.
• Two years of recent phlebotomy experience or one year of inpatient hospital phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience with Epic Rover and strong computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform phlebotomy on inpatients and outpatients of all ages.
• Triage lab samples and verify information.
• Enter and verify patient and test data in the computer.
• Prepare and deliver specimens and prepare batch documentation.
• Monitor workflow and assist with scheduling.
