Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Educator to support the East Valley Medical Surgical Observation Unit (MOSU).

You will partner with bedside staff, nurse leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to develop education programs, onboarding, and competency validation that promote safe, high-quality pediatric care. This role focuses on identifying learning needs, implementing evidence-based teaching strategies, and evaluating outcomes to strengthen staff skills and professional

Qualifications

• One year experience in a preceptor or leadership role in the specific specialty area.
• Two years clinical pediatric nursing experience.
• Adult teaching experience (preferred).
• Current State of Arizona RN license.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• National Certification in clinical specialty and/or nursing professional development (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with colleagues within the educational department to support the departmental strategic plan and ongoing institutional growth.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and departments as a change agent and participates in the evaluation of outcomes.
• Engages in ongoing organizational endeavors which support the philosophy and values of Phoenix Children's, nursing, model of care and professional development of staff.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates learning opportunities based on evidence using a variety of teaching strategies.
• Seeks and takes advantage of opportunities to enhance own professional growth and development.
• Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.
